Chicot County Arkansas has 28 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 4 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Lake Village Confederate Monument, Lake Village Post Office, Lakeport Plantation and Walker House and American Legion Post No. 127 Building.

Several famous people are associated with these Chicot County historic places including Hardin Family, Sam Epstein and M.E. Davis.

Some of the country's most noteable architects helped create the Chicot County places including Thompson & Harding, Avery Johnson, Louis A. Simon, Dr. Edward Pelham McGehee, Albert G.
