Significant places include Lake Mohonk Mountain House Complex, Parker, Alton B., Estate, Kingston City Hall, Kingston Stockade District and Kingston/Rondout 2 Lighthouse.

Many famous people are associated with these Ulster County historic places including Albert Smiley, Alton Brooks Parker, Oliver Hazard Payne, Harvey Fite, Josiah Hasbrouck and Frank A. Palen.

Some of the country's most noteable architects helped create the Ulster County places including Thomas S.
