Washington County Utah has 50 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 3 places of National significance and 28 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Hamblin, Jacob, House, Mountain Meadows Historic Site, Old Washington County Courthouse, Angels Landing Trail--West Rim Trail and Cable Mountain Draw Works.

Many famous people are associated with these Washington County historic places including Jacob Hamblin, Robert D. Covington, Joseph H. Frisby, Jepson, James, Jr. and Thomas Judd.
