Salt Lake County Utah has 50 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 3 places of National significance and 13 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Baldwin, Nathaniel, House, Beehive House, Bingham Canyon Open Pit Copper Mine, 19th Ward Meetinghouse and Relief Society Hall and Amussen's Jewelry.

Many famous people are associated with these Salt Lake County historic places including Brigham Young, Nathaniel Baldwin, Charles Baldwin, Nicholas D. Stathakos, Julius Gerson Brooks and Ebenezer Beesley.
