New Mexico - Mora County
Mora County New Mexico has 22 places on the National Register of Historic Places including 4 places of National significance and 15 places of Statewide significance. Significant places include Fort Union National Monument, Ocate Creek Crossing and the Santa Fe Trail--Mora County Trail Segments, Wagon Mound, Watrous and Cassidy Mill.

Many famous people are associated with these Mora County historic places including Narciso Valdez, Daniel Cassidy, William Townsend Brown, Ceran St. Vrain and Nathan Weil.

Some of the country's most noteable architects helped create the Mora County places including Vicente Romero, Joseph Fuss, Charles Q. Tipton, F. Trent Thomas, Carlos Vierra and Enoch Tipton.
